I'm actually shocked that Emerald's doesn't have 5 stars on here? This is hands down some of the best breakfast I've ever had. Consistent, delicious, huuuuge portions, and they're super accommodating with my whole "taste buds of a toddler" situation. Everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is cute and cozy!!!

Proof of why you should not listen to bad reviews. This place is a favorite of ours for breakfast. No it's not updated, but the staff is always good and the food is consistent. It's a great place to stop but for some awesome breakfast!

This is a very pleasant place for breakfast or lunch. The food is quite good. The servers are excellent, both friendly and efficient. The only thing I have issue with is that the cokes are $4.00. Even in this time of often higher prices, $4.00 is too much. $3.50 would be appropriate.

I love this place! Been coming here for years, whenever I'm visiting from out of town I always make it a point to stop and eat here. The food is always great, fresh and homemade, their homemade corn chowder is awesome. The waitresses are always friendly and helpful and there's plenty of parking.

Emerald's is a gem . Five of us got together after our monthly Mass for breakfast. Plenty of parking. Very clean and safe. Demanding Dan had the Emerald's Special (2 French toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and home fries); Manic Mike had a spinach omelet w HFs and toast; Crash Test Dummy Ron had an egg white omelet, HFs and toast; rookie Puxatanny Pat had an egg, HFs and toast; and I, AKA Corned Beast Hash, had the Sapphire Special (2 eggs, CBH, HFs, toast). They do make their own hash, and it was delish. All of us were members of the clean plate club, and were fans. For this one, I polled the audience for a rating. Results as follows: DD 4, MM 4.5, CTDR 4.5, AND me 4. PP has not yet earned voting privileges. So, overall rating is 4.25. Final note. Our server, Symyrna, from St. Lucia, was great. Pleasant, efficient, kept us caffeinated, understood our feeble attempts at French. And she definitely gave as much as she took (my friends can be a rough crowd). Definitely worth a visit.
